FORESTERS

At the fortnightly meeting of Court Enterprise, acting C.R. Bro. D. Mercer presided. The reports of the Woodwards in reference to sick members were not satisfactory. Invitations received from Courts St. Andrew, Pride of Leith, Pride of Dunedin, Queen of Green Island and Molyneux were accepted. Two death claims were passed for payment. One brother was assisted from the Benevolent Fund. One brother drew his No. 1 sur?lus amounting to £l2 3s lid, and £6 s lOd was paid over to a deceased estate. The following were selected to attend Pride of Dunedin’s function: P.C.R.’s Bros. A, M‘Leod, W. M. Hogg, E. Johnson, and T. Cockburn. A letter of recommendation was granted to a brother to attend the various courts in the district in which he lives. An official visit was received from Court Little John. Adcock on behalf of Court Little John, An initiation cere; mony was conducted by C.R. Sis. Adcock, S.C.H, Bro. Christie, S.W. Sis. M’Morrin, J.W. Sis. Brandon, S.B. Bro. Mureton, J.B. Bro. Websters, I.P.C.R. Bro. D. Thomson. One candidate was initiated into the Order and two propositions were received. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £24 10s. Bro. R. Wilson, secretary to Court Little John, complimented the court on its position.
