In the difficult times that are passing—especially in the first rush for self-preservation—many people were inclined to lose sight of the fact that the worker is also a consumer. Throwing people out of work simply accentuates the downward movement. Putting them back into work assists the upward trend. It was inevitable that New Zealand wool, backed bya tradition of quality and of honest endeavour, should survive the lean years. Now let us take it a step further and stabilise markets and prosperity by being self-reliant and giving increasing employment to New Zealanders. During all that time, too, Kaiapoi craftsmen have been weaving into apparel of beauty, comfort and utility the finest fleeces of New Zealand sheep, thus building a reputation here and overseas. When you insist on “KAIAPOI” productions, therefore, you not only show a real appreciation of value, but you are contributing to your own prosperity and that of New Zealanders as a whole. y ; KAIAPOI OVERCOATS KAIAPOI SPORTS i CLOTHING KAIAPOI KNITTING WOOL KAIAPOI BATHING SUITS KAIAPOI BLAZERS KAIAPOI FLANNELS n uo sr rnrnrni Alii MOOEAfi! kaiapoi-rtnijuiw 1 AST IOMbtST KAI AIKII TM w sjAkttry w A t ill VP ’, T H E BEST THAT GROWS INTO KAIA P O I GO E S
