DEAD STARS IN FILM
It would be difficult to imagine a performance more weirdly grotesque than that lately given at the London Hippodrome, when the new film “ Wine, Women, and Song ’’ was privately shown to kinenia owners. The stars in this production were Lilyan Taslunan and Lew Cody; and both died befo-e the film could reach the British public.. Moreover, the plot of this new Herbert Brenon talkie called for them to die in the. story! Miss Taslunan murders Mr Cody by putting poison in his wineglass and then herself expires from a heart attack.
