NAVAL CONFERENCE
THE PRELIMINARY TALKS STILL PROCEEDING (British Official Wireless.) , RUGBY, July 25. In the House of Commons Mr Stanley Baldwin, questioned {ibout the present position of the naval conversations preparatory to the conference in 1935, said that preliminary conversations had already taken place with representatives of the United States and the French Governments. Similar conversations with representatives of the Italian Government would probably be undertaken in September, and with representatives of the Japanese Government in October.
