TAIERI PIPE BAND

ANNUAL CONCERT. Tile annual Scottish concert of the Taieri Highland Pipe Band was held last evening. Mr J. P. Walls occupied the chair and welcomed the artists who bad visited Mosgiel to entertain the audience. The band opened the programme with a number of Scotch airs. The following contributed items:—Mr James Swan (songs), Miss Jean M‘Lay (songs), Mr William Le Gal (violin solos), Mr Arthur Macdonald (songs), Mrs D. Carty (songs), Mr James Paterson (humour), Missai Agnes Kleski, Loma Budge, Maiaie Scott, and Flora M'Donald (national dances). Mrs Arthur Macdonald played tne accompaniments, and the music for the dancing was supplied by Pipe Major Chirnside.
