Workmen began removing a part of the stock of 100.0 bushels of malt, "but after 200 bushels had been moved the zinc lining of the store melted, and the smoke and water penetrated, running the remainder of the malt and damaging the instruments arid volumes in the laboratory containing the formulae. The. building, plant, and stock are insured for, £28,275 in the Southern Union.
