“THE DOVER ROAD”
All things seem to point to the success of tbe presentation of the “Dover Road ” by tbe Otago University Dramatic Society. The season, of three nights, commences at His Majesty’s Theatre this evening. The play, which is being produced by Miss Bessie Thomson, gives promise of being a great success, and the theatre-going public of Dunedin is sure of a really first-rate performance. The students who form the principals of the cast have all proved their merit in previous productions of the society, and they ate ably supported by the minor members. Miss Isobc-l Newlands and Miss Margot Garrett play Anne and Eustacia respectively, while the part of Latimer is played by Mr Lester Muller, and that of Dominic by Mr Bruce M’Kenzio. Mr Russell Napier and Mr Wyvern dc Clive Lowe play Leopard and Nicholas. With this cast and A. A. Milne’s delightful humour, supported by occasional music by the D.I.C. orchestra, an evening’s amusing entertainment is assured.
