TURKEY AND PERSIA
AN ALLIANCE FORMED LONDON, June 20. (Received June 20, at 9 p.m.) The Daily Express says Mustafa Kcmal and the Shah of Persia have formed an alliance under which Turkey undertakes to support Persia’s oil claims against Iraq, and Persia’s claims to sovereignty of the Bahrein Islands.
