WIRELESS ROMANCE
ONE-WORD MESSAGE GIRL’S “YES” ACROSS GLOBE. LONDON, May 25. According to the Daily Mail, romance in the form of a one-word wireless mea sage, was sent to Mr \ incent Rouse, a member of an Oak worth firm of worsted spinners, across the globe. The word was “Yes,” and was despatched by Miss Elaine'Bloggs, of Toorak, Melbourne, to whom Mr Rouse proposed when she was in England, He asked her to consider his offer and to reply by wireless on her arrival in Australia. She did not wait until she reached home, but sent the | message from Suez.
