EIGHT LIVES LOST SAN SALVADOR DEVASTATED. NEW YORK, June S. Eight lives -were lost, 500 persons_ were rendered homeless, and damage to property estimated at 1,500,000 dollars was caused as the result of a hurricane which swept San Salvador yesterday. Pan American Airways, reported that martial law had been declared as tuc result of the complete collapse of communication facilities and light and power linos. ,
