PALMERSTON The third round of the Eastern District Rugby Football Sub-union’s was commenced on Saturday -in cold weather. At Duttback Palmerston had a narrow- and rather lucky win by 6 points to 3 after a ragged game. Waikouaiti travelled to Seachff, and an even forward game ended without score. Waikouaiti juniors travelled to Palmerston and were defeated by 6 points to 3. Merton travelled to Waitati .and was defeated by 14 points to. 3.
