PETROL EXPLOSION
CARS AND GARAGE DAMAGED OWNER SEVERELY BURNED. ( Per United L’ress Association,) WELLINGTON. May 22. Two motor cars and a garage were damaged by fire when Robert William Sullivan, a confectioner, of Houghton Bay road,' used a petrol lighter to enable him to put the cap on the petrol tank of his car to-night. Sullivan himself received severe burns to his arm and hand, and had to be taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
