Tuesday, May 22. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) UNDEFENDED CASES. , Judgment was given for plaintiffs in the following cases:—Dunedin City Corporation v. Richard T. G. Carter and Rosa Carter, claim £lB 3a 4d, rates due on property, with costs (£4 IBs 6d); Dunedin City Corporation v. Margaret Jones, claim £43 Bs, rates due on property, with costs (£6 Is); Dunedin City Corporation v. James Smeaton and Emily J. M. Smeatoil, claim £lB 17s sd, rates due on property, with costs (£5); Coulls, Somerville, and Wilkie, Ltd., v. Woh Lee (Palmerston North), claim £4 13s, for goods supplied, with costs (£1 3s 6d); Dunedin City Corporation v. James Smith, claim £39 10s 4d, rates due on property, with costs_ (£6 19s 6d); Dunedin Brewery and Wilson Malt Extract Company v. Thomas Hannon (Port Chalmers), claim £8 9s, for goods supplied, with costs (15s); Chas. Begg and Co., Ltd., v. Laurence Shaw (Arthurton), claim £l9, for goods supplied, with costs (£1 14s). JUDGMENT SUMMONS. Maud Elizabeth O’Connell v. Harry Burgess, claim £4 4s. —The judgment debtor was ordered to pay the amount claimed, with costs (9s), in default five days’ imprisonment, the warrant to be suspended provided he nays 10s per week, the first payment to be made on June 12.
