CONCERT AT TALBOYS HOME
- ■» A very enjoyable concert was given at Talboys Home on Saturday evening. A splendid programme was provided, and at the conclusion Mr A. Steel expressed to the performers, and also to the Duned'.n South Labour Party, which had arranged the concert, the thanks of the inmates and the board for the entertainment tlioy had provided. The following programme was contributed :—Songs—Miss Dryden, Miss J. Cardno, Miss Beck. Miss Kirkham, Miss Algie, Mrs Douglas, and Mr J. Paterson; pianoforte solos, Miss M. Hudson and Mr Phelan: saxophone solo, Mr Gamble: recitation, Mr .7. Paterson: Highland fling—Miss Alma Metcalfe, Miss Jessie Baxter and Master .7. Miller. The concluding part of the programme was provided by " Umdah," a magician.
