The Shell Company's coastal tanker Paua is due back in Wellington to-morrow from Auckland and Kapler. The Malmoa is due at Wellington on Thursday from ■ Lyttelton, and will sail the same day for Auckland, from which port she will sail on May 30 for London and west coast ports, via: Cape Horn. The British Phosphate Commission announces that the steamer Fife left Nauru Island on Mar 15 with 7600 tons of phosphates for discharge at New Plymouth and Wangamii. COASTWISE MOVEMENTS. Opihi sailed last evening for Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth. Abel Tasman sailed yesterday for Bluff and Greymouth to discharge the remainder of her cargo from New South Wales ports. 'Wingatui is to leave Auckland on Friday for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She is due at this port on May 31. Breeze is due at Dunedin to-morrow from Bluff, and will sail the same evening lor Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. , Poolta is due here to-morrow morning Iroin Bluff, where she was delayed by rain, and Is timed to sail to-morrow evening for Oamaru. Timaru, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Napier and Gisborne. Kalingo is to sail to-day for Greymouth, where the remainder of her cargo from Australia will be discharged. The Union Company advlßes that the Wainul, which was delayed at Bluff yesterday by rain, is due at Dunedin to-morrow morning from Melbourne, via Bluff, to discharge cargo. She is timed to sail to-morrow afternoon for Lyttelton, Wellington, Bluff, and Melbourne. ; AUXILIARY KETCH MIRO. The auxiliary ketch Mlro, which arrived in the Lower Harbour on Sunday morning 'with explosives from Auckland,, will load general cargo at Dunedin to-day for Auckland. The vessel was delayed by bad weather, which accounted for her occupying 13 days on the run down the coast. She left the powder anchorage at Auckland on May 7, and encountered strong southerly weather for the greater part of the voyage. . KARETU'S ITINERARY. The Union Company advises that the Karetu "is due at Dunedin on Thursday from Auckland, via ports. She will sail the same day for Bluff and return to this port on Saturday to load cargo for- Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Ajckland. She will also load shooks and general freight for Aitutaki, Atlu, Maukc, Mangala, and Rarotonga. . AORANGI AT VANCOUVER. The motor liner Aorangl, from Sydney and Auckland, via ports, arrived at Vancouver on May IS. She will leave Vancouver to-morrow for Honolulu, Suva, Auckland, and Sydney, and is due at Auckland on June 10. , WAIHEMO FROM LOS ANGELES. The Waihemo was scheduled to clear Los Angeles on May 10 with cargo from Pacific coast ports for Auckland, Napier, Wellington. Lvttelton, Dunedin, and Australia. She is due at'Auckland about* June 12. TAIROA FROM LIVERPOOL. With cargo from west coast ports of Great Britain, the Shaw, Savill, and Albion steamer Tairoa was scheduled to clear Liverpool on May 19 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Napier. She is due at Auckland about July 8. MONTEREY AT SAN FRANCISCO. . The Oceanic Company's liner Monterey, from Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland, via ports, arrived at Los Angeles on Saturday and at San Francisco yesterday. lONIC LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON. The Blue Star Line steamer Avcloua Star was due at Bluff yesterday morning from London The vessel is in ballast and will load for England at Bluff, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. She is scheduled to leave Auckland on June 14 for London, via Panama. SURREY CLEARED COLON. In continuation of her voyage from Bluff to London, tho Surrey Is reported to have cleared Colon on May 13. She was despatched from Bluff on April 20. .-■'■. SWEDISH LAID UP TONNAGE. There was another increase In the volume of laid-up tonnage in Swodish ports during the month of February. On March 1 last there jverc 354 vessels of 387,000 tons gross and 552,700 tons dead-weight out of commission, compared with. 322 of 311,500 tons gross and 490,100 tons dead-weight on February 1. No comparison can be made with the figures for the corresponding dates of last year, since the total now includes all vessels of 100 tons gross and over, whereas it formerly comprised units of 300 tons gross and over.
