KOLOFF DEFEATS MICTIOT. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON 1- , May 21. By'straight falls Dan Koloff (I6st) easily defeated Rene Michot (lost 21b) in a wrestling match ' here this evening. Koloff gained his first fall in the fourth round with an unexpected dump which left Michot still groggy at the beginning of the next round. Koloff at once picked him up again and dumped him, and alter a moment's resistance had his shoulders on the mat. The fifth round lasted only 20 seconds until the first fall. The match was characterised by 6olid wrestling, with Michot mostly taking the initiative and Koloff defending easily. \ , ! MEYER DEFEATS CHEUNG. , (Vis United Press Association.) i AUCKLAND, May 21. A professional wrestling contest between Fred Meyer, an American, and Wong Buck Cheung, a Chinaman, ended after the sixth round, Meyer winning on account of his opponent being unable to continue after a slam following an aeroplane spin. Cheung had previously gained a fall by means of his own specialty " the Kins Foo stopnpr hold." The large attendance gave George Walker a vociferous reception as hi stepped into the ring prior to the contest to challenge the winner.
