Mr Justice Kennedy returned to Dunedin from Invercargill on Saturday. Mr H. Coxhead travelled to Timaru by the express on Saturday. Mr J. M. Paterson returned from a visit to Invercargill on Saturday. Professor Shelley, of Canterbury College, returned to Christchurch by the express on Saturday. Mr E. C. Hands, general manager ot the Radio Broadcasting Board, left for Wellington by the express on Saturday. Mr G. Commissioner Cunningham, territorial commander of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, is being transferred to South Africa, and willleave on July 14 by tbe Ruahine for London to attend a meeting of the High Council which » to elect a new world commander. The meeting appointed Mr W H. Stevens, who has acted as manager of the company for the past eight years, to the position of managing director. Mr J. E. Kirk was appointed chairman" of directors and Mr•W»U Appleton joined the board as a director.
