ST. KILDA BAND
SUNDAY NIGHT CONCERT. The St. Kiida Band gave another of its popular Sunday evening concerts in the Empire Theatre last evening. The programme was of a high standard, and included the difficult test selection, " Tschaikowsky's Works," which provided a thorough test for all s tiona of the band. Of interest to Dunedin musical people was the first performance of the march " Allandale," composed by Mrs X. Cleavin. This is a bright and tuneful composition, with bass solo, and proved highlv popular. Solos, band numbers, and other items wont to make up a thoroughly enjovable evening's entertainment which was" greatly appreciated by a largo audience.
