♦ THE GERMAN IMPORTS v GOVERNMENT CONTROL. BERLIN, May ■lB. Government control of the importation of raw materials has been extended to May 31. BRADFORD DISAPPOINTED. LONDON, May 19. (Received May 20, at 7 p.m.) Germany's extension of the embargo caused considerable disappointment in Bradford wool circles. The Yorkshire Post says it was stated in one quarter that during the past day or two inquiry had been stimulated in anticipation of removal. Now, however, the trade will be compelled to continue in a state of uncertainty.
