OAMARU TROTTING MEETING
The Oamaru Trotting Club’s winter meeting will be held to-day, and the Invitation Match Race, in which Harold Logan, Walla Walla, Roi TOr, and Red Shadow will compete, is creating considerable interest. Apart from this star attraction, however, the card is a very attractive one, and some capital racing should be witnessed. The favourites will probably be: — Innovation Handicap.—Prince Harvester, Mahinerangi, and Gold Standard. Advance Handicap.—Guy Mauritius, Cracksman, Adaum. ■: Invitation Match.—Harold Logan. President’s Handicap.—Waresa, Worthy Queen, Master Roy, Waikaura Handicap.—Triangle, Hakatere, Bon Haven. Enfield Handicap.—Ayrmont Chimes, Gold Tinge, Chenwood. Stewards’ Handicap. Greenmantle, Ronald Derby, Golden Dollar. Electric Handicap.—Gunmetal, Sure, Margaret Bell.
