.Unsettled, weather was again.. experienced in Duriedin yesterday, which was the eighth fuco'essive day in which some rain fell/ A very light south-west breeze was blowing, and-the thermometer registered 46 degrees at mid-day. Ifine though cold weather, with bright sunshine, was experienced to-day.. There was a light south-easterly breeze. There were occasional passing showers, with ;briei; periods, of sunshine. Conditions improved .somewhat during the afternoon. A strong southerly wind blew, with a few. gusts up to 50 miles an hour during the morning,' but in the afternoon the wind decreased slightly in force. The'temperature at 4 p.m. was 46.8 degrees and the maximum during the day was 49.1 degrees. , CHRISTCHURCH, May 10. The weather to-day was sunny during the morning and overcast and chilly during the afternoon. The barometer is steady at 30.26.
