Without a human being on board, this craft could manoeuvre at 40 knots, bearing a cargo' of high-ex-plosive. Directed against an enemy warship her cargo would detonate on contact—and- even a vessel like the great H.M.B. Nelson might not survive the explosion. She could also circle enemy vessels, dropping depth charges, and return safely to her parent ship. Her small size and . high speed make her an almost impossible target for naval gunners.
