NOTES FROM RICCARTON' :, (Special to Daily Times.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 8. \ The regular galloping tracks at Kiccarton are out of action owing to heavy rain. Some horses were worked steadily on the sand track this morning, but most were given only road exercise. The four-year-old, Imperial Spear, has, been sold by Mr H. A.'Knight, to Mr. C. Kearns, and will leave F. D. Jones's stable, where hi 3 place will be taken by the British Empire—Currency yearling. filly. T '., :. Custodian has rejoined F. D. Jones a team. He looks very well after a short rest and will start soon on a preparation for his three-year-old engagements.'
