DECREASE IN BRITAIN (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 7. (Received May, 8, at 5.5 p.m.) Andther large increase in the number of workpeople employed is shown by the Labour Ministry figures. On April 23 there were approximately 10,140,000 insured persons, aged 16 to 64, employed in Britain, which was 82,000 more than a month before, and 638;000 more than a year before. Most of the principal industries showed further improvement. Unemployed persons on labour exchange registers numbered 1,729,242 wholly unemployed, 329,913 temporarily stopped, and 89,040 normally in casual employment, a total of 2,148,195. This was 53,382 fewer, than the previous month, and 549,439 fewer than the year before. i
