LARWOOD AND OLDFIELD MEETING AT TRENT BRIDGE. LONDON, April 23. Oldfield and Larwood met and chatted at Trent Bridge. Larwood later said: “We are the best of friends. I told Bert I was feeling fit again.” JARDINE HOMEWARD BOUND. BOMBAY, April 23. All efforts to get Jardine to make a statement before leaving for England failed. It is neither his intention nor desire to play against Australia.
