FORESTERS
The fortnightly meeting of Court Enterprise was held on Tuesday last. C.R. Bro. I. Miller presided, and all officers were present, as well as a large number of members, including one from Southland and one from Balclutha. An invitation was received from Court Pride of Dunedin for March 18, and it was decided to attend- officially. One maternity claim was received and payment passed. A letter was received from a member in Wellington regarding the trophy for _ the proposing of members. It was decidec that P.C.R'. Bro. J. Edwards be pre sented with his'neck ribbon and_ certificate next court night. An invitation was sent to the District Executive asking them to the installation of officers next court
night. An invitation was also sent to Court Pride of Dunedin for next courfc night. Two candidates were initiated into the Order and two more propositions wera received for next court night. The nominations of officers took-place; the position of J.B. being held over till next court night. P.C.R. Bro. S. B. Brettell reported on his visits' to Court St. Andrew and Court-Pride of the Eeith, mentioning how well he was received. He'also reported on the progress of the centenary celebrations, and urged members to he sure and attend all functions. After the .close of the meeting, the members sat down to a game of cards.
