SHEEP TRUCKINGS. Particularly heavy truckings, of sheep passed through the Palmerston Railway Station last week, about 10,000 being handled. This represents the largest sheep truckings that have passed through the local station for. a number,.of years, and it necessitated the running of several special trains, most of which were tor the north, a number going as far »s Canterbury. The truckings from tne Dunback district are still heavy; SCHOOL CONCERT. ; ■ v The Palmerst6n District High School presented its annual concert before a good attendance in"the Town Hall" last- night. The programme was varied and interesting.
