MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the Otago Land Board was continued yesterday. Mr N. G. Kensington (chai-man) presided* and others present were: Messrs M. A. Kinney, D: M'Lennan, G. Livingstone, J. R. M'Ciilloch. PERMISSION TO OCCUPY. Christina Howie B,urt applied for permission to occupy allotment 8 on the foreshore, Shag Point (lr 25p), at present held in the name of Mrs J. S. Gunn. — Miscellaneous license 2710 cancelled, and permission granted to Christina Howie Burt to occupy area from year to year at an annual rental of 10s. Violet Flora Henke applied for mission -to occupy section 20, block XVI, Dunedin and East Taieri S.D. (lr), held in the name of F. S. Booth.—MX. 3438 cancelled, and permission granted to V. F. Henke to occupy area from year to year at an annual rental of £l. Cecil David de Pass applied for per; mission to occupy section 17a, Tokarahi Settlement (10a-2r), at present held in the name of W. E. de C. Hughes.—M.L. 898 cancelled and permission granted to Cecil "D. de Pass to occupy the area from year to year at an annual rental of £1 15s as from January 1, 1934. The commissioner submitted for consideration the application of A. N. Keith for permission to occupy section 6, block LXIX, town of Oamaru, area lr;—Year to year right ,to occupy, granted-to A. ,N. Keith at an annual rental of 10s. DETERMINATION OF LICENSE. The commissioner submitted for consideration the question of the determination of miscellaneous license 3536, held by E. J. Pile, over an area fronting Haven street, town of Moeraki (4p).—License determined: as from date. The commissioner . submitted for consideration the question of determining miscellaneous license 1823, held by F. T. Blanchard over an area in' the town of, Roxburgh (la lr 31p).—License determined as from May 31, 1934. CANCELLATION. J. Muir, licensee of. section 182,/block XIX, Tuapeka East S.D., applied for permission to have the license over this area cancelled (12a Or OGp).—Miscellaneous license 2405 cancelled as from March 13, 1934, and permission granted to J. Muir to remove his fencing within 14 days. " THIRDS." The Vincent County Council submitted proposals for the expenditure of " thirds," accrued for the period ended January 31, 1934, amounting to £55 19s lid.—Proposals approved and receiver authorised to pay. Proposals for the expenditure of 13s Od, " fifths" of forest revenue accrued to the Vincent County Council for the period ended September 30, 1933, were submitted for approval.—Proposals approved. The Alexandra Borough Council submitted proposals for the expenditure of " thirds,' etc., accrued for the period ended January 31, 1934, amounting to £1 3s lid.—Proposals approved and receiver authorised to pay. The Tuapeka County Council submitted proposals for the expenditure of " thirds," etc., accrued for the period ended January 31, 1934, amounting to £7 19s 9d.— Proposals approved and receiver. authorised to pay. The Waitaki County Council submitted proposals for the expenditure of " thirds," etc., accrued for the period ended January 31, 1934, amounting to 2e.-—Proposals approved and receiver authorised to pay. Proposals for the expenditure of £2 7s Id, " fifths " of the forest revenue accrued to the Lake County Council for the period ended September 30, 1933, were submitted for approval.—Proposals approved.
