VISIT TO MOUNT COOK VISITOR MUCH IMPRESSED. (Pei United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 5. Dr Walter Williams, president of the World’s Press Conference, returned to Wellington yesterday from the South Island, 'and proceeded to-day to Tongariro, Wairakei, Rotorua, and Auckland. He will leave by the Monterey on Saturday for Los Angeles.. He is enthusiastic over Mount Cook, which he saw in all its glory under a fresh fall of snow. “I nave seen all the great mountains of the world, and I can say that it is worth coming round the world to see Mount Cook. It surpasses anything I have seen before—-Switzerland, and the Andes, and anything we have in America and Canada,” , .
; Dr Williams is taking copies of New Zealand papers with him to show the students of Missouri University, of which he is president. He said it is his intention to return to New Zealand in about a year to see things be has missed this time.
