(Received March 3, at 5 p.m.) Further evidence was Ward in the case in which William Symes, Arthur Mills, and Albert Sharman, officials of the British Union of Fascists, were charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm on George Richardson, otherwise Malcolm Scott, a press contributor. Symes said he heard a scuffle between Richardson and Mills. He noticed an injury to Richardson's face. Mills said that Richardson hit him first. Witness denied saying, "We take the law into our own hands," or that "the administering of castor oil " was the sole means of punishing 'suspects. He stated that Dundass, chief of the Fascist staff, spoke politely to Richardson, and did not call him "a dirty rat." The hearing was adjourned.

CHARGES OF SABOTAGE. WASHINGTON, March 2. (Received March 3, at 5 p.m.) President Roosevelt lias ordered an investigation into the charges of sabotage of United States army aeroplanes carrying air mails. Mr George Dern, secretary of the War Department, announced the investigation, adding that the reports of punctured gasoline tanks, tampering with controls, and water in gasoline tanks were being investigated thoroughly, though he did not believe in the truth of such charges. ; " HIGH FLYER " SCRAPPED. LONDON, March 2. (Received March 3, at 5 p.m.) The last survivor of 40 locomotives of the type popularly known as the "high flyers" fs to be scrapped after a career of 30 years in the service of the former Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. The " high flyers " established a remarkable reputation, and when introduced in 1899 one is reputed on the test run to have attained 100 miles an hour. The full weight of these engines was 89 tons, compared with 158 tons, which is the weight of the latest London-Midland-Scottish type, the "Princess Royal." SPANISH CABINET. MADRID, March 3.
