When Hubert Bath, of Ash, near Aldershot, was sumrnoned at the Woking Police Court lately for entering \ oneway street against the sign, h e said he did not see the sign, and if he had it would have been no use because he could not read. Fining him 10s, the chairman of the magistrates, Sir Laurence Halsey, said Bath, should be careful driving a motor car about the country when he could not read the road signs.
