A sentence of 10 months' imprisonment was passed at'a London court recently on Edward Adam, aged 28, tailor, who was described by a detective as the strongest man he had ever met. Adam was seen trying car doors in the Haymarkefc When officers approached to arrest him, he kicked one in the abdomen, nearly knocked another through a plateglass window, and broke from iwo other detectives. He then knocked down five pedestrians who tried to stop him, but he waa eventually caught. He had only been married a Week.
