(From Oub Own Correspondent.) WAIKOUAITI, March 4. A military ball .organised by the local committee of the R.S.A was held on Hrfay evening, a large number bemg present Mr Logan Goodley was M,C. and Ellison s Band supplied danc« music. During an interval vocal solos given, by Mrs M. Tairoa were.well received. Earlier in the week the committee tepdered an evenings entertainment in .the form of' a smoke concert to ex-servicemen at «the military camp. This also was a ■ successful function.

UNEMPLOYMENT COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Waikouajti Unemployment Committee was held, last evening, the Rev. T. W. Potts presiding.
