AMERICAN COLD WAVE
ACCOMPANIED BY HIGH WINDS ELEVEN DEATHS REPORTED. NEW YORK, December 12. (Received Dec. 13, at 5.5 p.m.) The second cold wave during the winter held the eastern portion of the United States in an icy grip. Below zero temperatures, accompanied by high winds, are reported in many sections. Eleytn deaths from cold occurred in Newhaven.
