TOUR CANCELLED
AMERICAN GOLFERS THE PROBABLE REASON. SYDNEY, December 13. The golfer, Archie Keane, manager in Australia for Sarazen and Kirkwood, thinks the opposition in Victoria to the tour may have influenced Kirkwood’s decision. The Victorians are particularly anxious to postpone the visit, so that it will synchronise with the centenary celebrations in November, 1934 It is even hinted that in the event of the arrival in February the Victorian clubs will refuse to make their courses available. A previous cable message etatde that the tour had been cancelled.
