Awarua. —Abel Tasman, Bear of Oakland, Jacob Ruppert, Kanna, Kartlgl, Makura, Strathaird, Teakwood, Walkawa, Walkoualtl, Walnut, Wyatt Earp. 0 The motor vessel Port Whangarel, which arrived yesterday from northern ports, will sail to-day for Timaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington to complete loading for Tauranga, Auckland, and Whangarel. The British tanker Teakwood, having discharged 1500 tons of Russian petrol at the Victoria wharf, sailed yestefday morning for San Pedro. The Intercolonial steamer Abel Tasman sailed yesterday for Bluff, where the remainder of her cargo from Clarence River and Sydney will be discharged. She will afterwards go to Westport and Sydney. The Walkoualtl Is to sail to-day for Timaru and Lyttelton to discharge the remainder of her Australian cargo. She will proceed thence to Bluff, Sydney, and Newcastle. The'Wlngatul Is due at Dunedin to-day from Auckland, viji ports, to discharge general cargo. She will'sail this evening for Bluff, and will return on Saturday to load for east coast ports and Auckland, The Gale is due at Dunedin on Saturday from Wellington to discharge and load general cargo. She Is timed to sail the same day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington. Picton, and Wanganui. The Tymerlc Is due at Lyttelton on December 20 from Nauru Island with phosphate. She will complete discharge at Ravensbourne, Dunedin.

The Otlra left Sydney last Saturday morning for Opua, where she was due at daybreak yesterday to commence Homeward loading In New Zealand. She Is to leave Opua to-morrow for Napier and Wellington. The Karepo left Wellington on Saturday for New Plymouth, thence to Greymouth to load for Sydney. She will then.load at Newcastle early in January for Wellington. The Kanna is to leave Greymouth toward the end of the week for Melbourne, Adelaide, and Newcastle to load for New Plymouth, Auckland, aiid Wellington. She is to clear Newcastle about January 3.

The Kalingo left Wellington on Saturday for Napier to complete discharge of her cargo from Newcastle and Sydney, to Greymouth to load for Sydney and Brisbane. She will then load at Clarence River early in January and completes at Newcastle for Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Greymouth.

WAIKAWA FROM PACIFIC COAST. The Union Company’s freighter Waikawa arrived at Dunedin yesterday morning from Pacific coast .ports, via Nukualofa, Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton. She was berthed at the Rattray street wharf, where the local portion of her freight, which was loaded at Ocean Palls, Vancouver, Snn Francisco, and Los Angeles, Is being discharged. The Walkawa will go to Port Chalmers this morning to unload a portion of her cargo, and will sail this afternoon for Melbourne, Sydney, and Newcastle to complete discharge. KARTIGI FROM AUSTRALIA. A radio message received by the Union Company from the captain of the Kartigl states that the vessel will arrive at Bluff to-day from Edithburg, Adelaide, and Melbourne. The Kartigl Is due at Dunedin to-morrow, and, after discharging the local portion of her cargo, will sail to-morrow evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, New Plymouth, and Auckland. She will load general cargo at this port for New Plymouth. ' * ROTORUA FOR ENGLAND. To complete Homeward -loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rotorua arrived at Wellington last Sunday morning from Napier. She Is scheduled to clear Wellington finally at daybreak to-morrow for London, via the Panama canal. PERSONAL ITEMS., Messrs J. C. Bannatyne, W. A. Scott, and W. M’Murran have been appointed chief, second, and third engineers respectively of the Karepo. AUXILIARY SCHOONER HUIA. The Nobel auxiliary schooner Hula was expected to arrive In the Haurakl Gulf (Auckland) last week-end from Melbourne and Sydney. The vessel, after unloading a quantity of explosives for Auckland, will lighter, explosives from the steamer Cambridge. After the work is completed the Hula will proceed to New Plymouth, Greymouth, Nelson, Wellington, and Dunedin to unload the remainder of her cargo of explosives. , RECORDER FOR COOK STRAIT. The, Pacific Cable Board’s cable ship Recorder, at present moored off Devonport, Auckland, is to leave this week for Cook Strait to repair some Inter-island cable for the Government. It Is not known how long the work will take.
