RAIDED BY THE POLICE
r MAU HEADQUARTERS EIGHT CHIEFS ARRESTED. .. APIA, November 16. This morning police, parties in charge of Inspector Braisby simultaneously raided the Mau headquarters office at Vaimoso and Mr Nelson’s residence at Tuaefu. It is believed that much Mau propaganda was seized, , Later eight Samoan chiefs of the Mau, part of a delegation of 100, were arrested at Laua-tua-uu village, allegedly for collecting unlawful moneys and engaging in general Mau activities.
