The Long Arm Messrs Arthur Barker, in announcing publication early in 1934 of a life of Kerensky, cite as one of the curious coincidences of history the fact that Lenin and Kerensky, who were so violently opposed in later years, were bom in the same village of Simbirsk, and Kerensky's father was, in fact, Lenin’s schoolmaster, and wrote a most glowing report of him as a bov.
