CRAZE FOR KNITTING
FACTOR IN WOOL PRICES LONDON, September 20. The Evening Standard, apropos of wool, mentions that a potent factor is the craze for knitting. Furthermore, big British interests are negotiating with a large German film to develop in tapestry yarns. Likewise they are building a mill. The Yorkshire papers speak encouragingly of the activity of the mills. They state that unemployment in Huddersfield is only half of that of 1932.
