THE BOYS’ BRIGADE
ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS HUGE RELIGIOUS SERVICE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 11. (Received Sept. 12, at 5.5 p.m.) The largest religious service that has ever been held in Scotland was held on the football ground at Glasgow yesterday, when a conventicle to mark the fiftieth anniversary of the Boys’ Brigade, founded in Glasgow by the late Sir William Smith, was attended by a congregation of 130,000. Prince George read a message fyom the King, paying a tribute to the social value of the Boys’ Brigade to the youth of the country.
