THE WEATHER
Perfect weather prevailed in Dunedin yesterday, the sun shining from a cloudless sky. Conditions were mild and pleasant, with a light easterly breeze. The barometer showed little movement throughout the day, and registered 30.45 last night. It was the hottest day since the coming of spring, the maximum temperature being 60 degrees. REPORTS FROM NORTHERN CENTRES. (SrECiAL to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, September 7. There was a continuation of the ideal sunny weather to-day, the wind being very light from the east. The barometer was high and practically steady. WELLINGTON, September 7. Pleasant spring weather continued today when there was a light northerly wind with passing clouds. CHRISTCHURCH,'September 7. The weather to-day was warm and sunny with a maximum temperature o'f 63.0 degrees. The barometer was steady at about 30.20. A moderate north-east breeze blew during the afternoon.
