The Holmdale, which arrived yesterday morning from Wellington, sailed last evening for Oamaru, Timaru, and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Plcton, and Wanganui. The .Totara Is duo at Dunedin this morning from Wellington to discharge and load general cargo. She is to sail this evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and New Plymouth. The Walpiata is due here to-morrow morning from Bluff to load general cargo. She will sail to-morrow for Timaru, Lyttelton, Picton, Wellington and Auckland. The Gale, which is due at Dunedin this morning from Bluff, will sail this evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Wanganui. The Walmarino is to leave Auckland to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff. The Shaw, SavlU and Albion chartered steamer Canonesa is reported to have reached Southampton on August 30 from Wellington, via Montevideo. She sailed from Wellington on July 8. The Asama Maru, from Japan to load scrap metal, was expected to reach Auckland on Tuesday, several days before schedule. She will load about 5700 tons of scrap at Auckland, Lyttelton and Wellington. RUAHINE DUE THIS MORNING. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Ruahine, from London, via Suva and Wellington, will berth at Port Chalmers early this morning. The vessel has a large quantity of London cargo for discharge at this port. WAINUI LEAVES MELBOURNE. Advice received by the Union Company states that the Wainul left Melbourne at 4 p.m. on Wednesday with general cargo for discharge at Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton and Wellington. The freight Includes transhipments ex the Remo, Cathay, Moreton Bay, Orama, Talleyrand, and Thermopylae The Walnut is due at Dunedin on Tuesday morning. TANKER NEW ZEALAND ARRIVES. The Norwegian tanker New Zealand arrived at Dunedin last evening from Los Angeles, via Australian ports, and was berthed at the Victoria wharf to discharge bulk motor spirit for the Texas Oil Company. The New Zealand is to sail to-day for Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland to complete discharge. RANGITIKI AT LONDON. Advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the motor liner Rangltikl arrived at London on Wednesday from New Zealand. The vessel left Auckland on August 4. TEKOA AT AUCKLAND. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tekoa arrived at Auckland on Wednesday morning from Liverpool. The vessel has cargo from West Coast ports of Great Britain for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, New Plymouth and Nelson. She is due at this port on September 20. PORT WAIKATO TO LOAD. The Port Waikato is scheduled to commence loading at Dunedin on September 19 for Australia. She will complete at Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Auckland, Whangarel and Dargaville, leaving Dargavllle about September 29 for Sydney. The Port Waikato will later load at Coff's Harbour for New Zealand. CARGO PROM LONDON. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the steamer Kent Is scheduled to leave London on November 2 with cargo for discharge at Lyttelton, Port Chalmers, Bluff, and New Plymouth. She will replace the Tongarlro, and is due at Lyttelton about December 8. RUAHINE'S PASSENGERS. She is to load at Pacific coast ports for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Australia. The vessel is scheduled to clear Los Angeles on September 15, and is "duo at Auckland on October 10. THE CANADIAN VICTOR. The Canadian Victor, en route from Montreal, has reported by wireless that she expects to arrive at Auckland on Sunday. She is duo at Wellington on September 14, and will sail the following' day for Australian ports. PORT DARWIN LIGHT. The flashing whlto light situated at Charles Point, Darwin, is to be altered on or about December 21 this year, and tho new light, while retaining the former red and green sectors, will show one flash every seven and a-half. seconds, as compared with the old one, which showed one flash every 30 seconds.
