Deer and kangaroos in the 500-ncre wild animal preserve at Whipsnade, in England, have discovered a new ruse for extracting titbits from visitors. Motor cars, which arc allowed to drive through the park slowly on certain days, are “ held up ” and the animals often refuse to vacate the roadway until they have received edible offerings.
