A sports ball was held in the Pembroke Hall on Wednesday night last. The-at-tendance was large, the hall being filled to capacity. The ball was promoted by Mrs Willis Scaife for the benefit of the sports bodies in Pembroke. An enthusiastic committee, headed by Misses Joan Scaife, M. Ewing, and E; Barker, assisted by the lady supporters of the various clubs, had tastefully decorated the hall for the occasion. The music was supplied by Burrough's. Cromwell Jazz Band.
