BOROUGH COUNCIL NOTICES ISLAND BOROUGH (jf COUNCIL. NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF SPECIAL ORDER MAKING A BYLAW. PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Green Island Borough Council, at a Special Meeting convened for the purpose and held on Tuesday, the of July, 1933, PASSED the following RESOLUTION making a By* law to be known as “ The Green Island Borough' By-law No. 9, 1933,” the object and purport of such By-law being to empower the said Council to prescribe the manner in which and the conditions under which Pedlars. Hawkers, and Itinerant Traders may be licensed and to revoke clause number forty-one of the Borough By-law No. 1. , A . , , The resolution referred to is as follows: — That the Green Island Borough Council, in pursuance of the powers and pro-, visions of " The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920,” and in pursuance of all and every other power contained in any other Act enabling the said Corporation in that behalf HEREBY RESOLVES to adopt the proposed By-law submitted herewith to be known as the Green Island Borough By-law No.. 9, 1933, to empower the said Council to prescribe tjie manner in which and the conditions under which Hawkers, Pedlars, and Itinerant Traders shall be licensed, and, when duly licensed, to fix the Fees Payable by the aforesaid Hawkers, Pedlars, and Itinerant Traders. And it is hereby further resolved that such proposed By-law,- when adopted, shall revoke clause number forty-one of the Borough By-law No. 1. And it is further resolved that this resolution be submitted to a SPECIAL MEETING of the Green Island Borough , Council to be held on TUESDAY, the Fifteenth day of August, 1933, for Confirmation as a Special. Order, to which meeting the said proposed Bylaw shall ‘also be submitted for adoption. AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that the said Resolution will be submitted to a SPECIAL MEETING of the said Council, to be held in the Council Chambers, Main South road, .Green Island, at 5 p.m. on TUESDAY, the Fifteenth day of August, 1933, for Confirmation as a Special Order, to which Meeting the said By-law shall be submitted for adoption. A copy of the said By-law is deposited in the Town Clerk's Office, Main South road, Green Island, and is OPEN FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION during Ordinary Office Hours, viz., from Monday to Friday (inclusive) between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon.
