THREE GREAT INVENTORS. In a class at a North Christchurch school the pupils had been asked to name three great inventors and their inventions. One little boy’s answer was outstanding. Ilia verdict was: “ Stephenson’s Steam Engine, Wright Brothels’ Aeroplanes, and Baxter’s Lung Preserver.” The teacher queried the inclusion of “ Baxter's,” but the little boy was quite sure himself. He explained that ho had often heard his father say that “ Baxter's ” was “ the best ever invented.” It was over 70 years ago that Baxter’s Lung Preserver was first made in New Zealand, since when it has won the confidence of one and all.
