LATEST WEEKLY RETURNS BIG DROP IN EXPENDITURE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 2. The weekly revenue returns show that the total ordinary revenue from April 1 to July 29 amounted to £177,530,884, which was £410,155 above last year’s figures at the corresponding date. The expenditure, at £229,144,021, showed a drop of £30,104.144, compared with last year.
