CITY POLICE COURT
Thursday, August 3. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M. DRUNKENNESS. A first offender, who pleaded guilty to a charge of drunkenness, was convicted and discharged. REMANDED TILL TO-DAY. A young man. whose name was ordered to be suppressed, was charged with wilful and obscene exposure.—On the application of Senior Sergeant MaeLeau ho was remanded until to-day. CHARGE OF THEFT. James William Rennet, alias Janies Gordon Bonnet, and two other young men, publication of whose names was suppressed, were charged with stealin"’ 12 bags of manuka firewood, valued at 18s. —Mr 0. Stevens, who appeared for the accused, asked for a remand.— A remand was granted until to-day, bail being allowed to Bonnet in bis own recognisance of £2O and one surety of £2O. Each of the other two were granted bail in their own recognisance of £2O.
