RUGBY FOOTBALL: THE OTAGO TEAMS
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Now that the selectors have announced the Otago A and B Rugby teams, there will be quite a stir amongst footballers and the public generally that “ so and so ” should have been picked, and that “bo and so" should have been playing five-eighths or in some other position. In order that the followers of the code may be given an opportunity of seeing these teams in action, I would _ suggest to the Otago Rugby Football Union that they be matched, and that the game take the place of the charity match. Should this not be possible, then I would suggest that the match be arranged for a Wednesday, and that the whole of the proceeds be given to the Mayor’s Unemployment Relief Fund. —I am, etc., Regular Attendee.
