THE WEATHER

The weather was fine, sunny, and warm in Dunedin yesterday morning, hut there was a sudden change in the afternoon. The wind changed from north-west to south-west, and vain commenced to fall about 4 p.m. The rain continued throughout the night. The maximum temperature at mid-day was 58 degrees. Heavy rain with mild temperatures, which commenced early this morning following on a fall of snow on the mountains on Monday night, has caused the lake to vise considerably.
